Q-Tile = the CTMA guarantees Quality Tile |
An immediate goal of the CTMA member manufacturers was to ensure that they produce the best concrete tiles and do so consistently. Although these manufacturers had accumulated a total of 232 years of experience in manufacturing concrete tiles, they wanted to establish uniform testing procedures and specifications designed especially for their products. The end result was that the CTMA developed strict specifications for both the materials and the manufacturing process to ensure that each member manufacturer produced the highest quality of concrete tiles.
With the Q-Tile testing program, CTMA is able to guarantee that the ultimate consumer will always receive concrete tile that meets this high standard. Smith-Emery Laboratories has been authorized to conduct random tests on concrete tiles shipped out by these member manufacturers to various job locations and dealer yards. Member manufacturers also stamp the date their tiles were produced. Q-Tile is the ultimate consumer assurance that they have installed quality tile backed by the Concrete Tile Manufacturers Association.
